Collaborations  >

University of Miyazaki, Japan

MIIT and the University of Miyazaki, Japan have been working closely since 2017 towards establishing common interests in academics and research. The initial impetus for this collaboration arose from MIIT participating in the Sakura Science Programme in 2017. It soon became apparent that, to begin with, MIIT and the University of Miyazaki could come together and organise joint international conferences.

The first step in this direction was taken in May 2018 when MIIT and the University of Miyazaki jointly organised the First International Conference on Big Data Analysis and Deep Learning Applications (ICBDL 2018) in Miyazaki, Japan. ICBDL 2019 will be held at MIIT in collaboration with the University of Miyazaki in the last quarter of 2019.

Our collaboration with the University of Miyazaki is expected to grow so as to include other aspects of academic cooperation, such as student exchange programmes and faculty collaboration in research.
