The entrance examination will be conducted every year in the month of September. The date of the examination will be announced to all the eligible applicants.

The entrance exam will cover topics from English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry that are part of the syllabus of the Matriculation Exam of Myanmar.

The entrance exam will be a computer-based exam. Candidates will be required to answer 100 questions from English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. All questions will be of multiple-choice nature. Each correct answer will fetch 1 mark. For each incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted. For a question that is not answered, 0 marks are awarded. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

No. The medium of instruction in MIIT is English. The entrance exam question paper will only be in the English language.

The entrance exam includes 100 multiple-choice questions covering English, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The duration for the exam will be 2 hours.

One way of preparing is to revise all the topics in these subjects that have been covered in Matriculation. However, the test aims to check the conceptual understanding of a student as well as their problem-solving skills. So the focus of preparation must be on concepts and problem solving. Also, you must be prepared to answer 100 questions in 120 minutes. This means that you will have a little more than 1 minute per question. Therefore, your speed of answering questions also matters.

If you get an admission offer from MIIT, there will be some instructions sent to you. You should follow the instructions to accept the admission offer, pay the fee, and complete the stated requirements.

The admitted students should report to MIIT on Friday, November 29, 2019. It is very important that the admitted student is present at MIIT on this day. Classes will begin on Monday, December 2, 2019.
