Prof. Sinha delivers an invited talk in India as part of the ACM Distinguished Speaker programme

Prof. Sinha, Professor, MIIT, is an ACM Distinguished Speaker in the field of digital signal processing for the period 2017-20. As part of this programme, he is often invited to deliver lectures and talks at other institutions and universities. On July 20, 2018, Prof. Sinha was at K. S. Rangasamy College of Arts and Science, Tiruchengode, India in his capacity as an ACM Distinguished Speaker.

The day-long programme consisted of three sessions:

  • Session 1: Research-based skills towards academic excellence – Practical ways to learn writing research contributions
  • Session 2: Ability of human brain and soft computing techniques
  • Session 3: Study of assessment of cognitive ability

The response was highly encouraging – nearly 120 faculty members, research scholars, and students attended the colloquium. The sessions saw participation from around 10-12 institutions located in the region. Prof. Sinha was humbled by the enthusiastic response to his lectures and the hospitality of his hosts. All in all, it was a great learning experience for everyone involved and we hope that Prof. Sinha can keep helping faculty members and students realise their true potential.
