Chandramouleeswaran Sankaran, affectionately known as ‘Mouli’, has a total of 30 years of experience, with 28 of them being in semiconductor and product companies. For the last two years, he has been teaching full-time. He spent his initial decade with the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), working on India’s prestigious missile program, Akash. He had a memorable stint with Motorola Electronics Limited for three years and with several renowned semiconductor companies – Lucent, Agere Systems, and LSI – over a period of 12 years.
He was the Engineering Director at LSI, heading the Networking group at Bangalore. His expertise is in defining, designing, and delivering high-quality software systems and products. He was an ISO process champion at LSI and instrumental in getting LSI’s Bangalore and Pune centres ISO 9001:2008 certified.
He has handled Advanced Processor Architecture and RTOS courses at Manipal University and the Software for Embedded Systems course at BITS Pilani (Distance Education). He taught at IIIT Bangalore for one year before joining MIIT as a Professor in Aug 2016.
Mouli is an avid listener of Indian Carnatic music and loves gardening and drawing.
