Ganesh R. Sinha completed his B.E. in Electronics Engineering and M.Tech. in Computer Technology with a Gold Medal from the National Institute of Technology, Raipur, India. Before joining MIIT, Dr. Sinha was working as a Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering and as Dean (Internal Quality Assessment Cell) at CMR Technical Campus, Hyderabad, India. He has been teaching and conducting research in his discipline for more than 19 years.
Dr. Sinha has published nearly 200 research papers in various national and international journals and conferences. He is an active reviewer for and editorial member of more than 12 reputed international journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Image Processing. He has also authored six books.
His research interests include biometrics, deep learning, computer aided design (CAD) & medical image processing, computer vision, employability skills, and outcome-based education.

Dr. Sinha has taught several courses in electronics and communications engineering at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
