A team of three MIIT students from the B.E. (Hons.) programme participated in the APT Young Professionals and Students Programme Robotic Competition on December 22, 2018. The team, coached by Prof. Chandramouleeswaran Sankaran and comprising of Aye Nyein Wai, Hnin Htet Htet Khaing, and May Thu Hnin, stood 3^rd in the finals and secured the 5^th position for innovative design. The robot was built entirely by the students using an Arduino board and was controlled using a radio controller.

The competition was held in Yangon and saw participation from 10 other teams in the search and rescue category. Congratulations to the team for their remarkable achievement. All of us at MIIT are immensely proud of their accomplishment.
