MIIT designed and offered the postgraduate diploma programmes specifically to help students of Myanmar who already possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent and wish to acquire strong problem-solving skills and other competencies required for kick-starting a successful career.

In 2015, the Postgraduate Diploma in Software Development (PGDSD) was launched to serve as an avenue for students to hone their competencies in order to enter the world of software development. Postgraduate diploma programmes in other specific areas will be designed and offered after MIIT concludes its ongoing discussions with the Myanmar IT industry.
