Code Mutants 2024

On February 15, 2024, MIIT organized Code Mutants 2024 – the competitive programming competition for MIIT students. The contest was meant specifically for students preparing to participate in the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) and strictly followed the rules of ICPC, including live scoreboards, automated evaluation of submissions, and balloons!

A total of 15 teams – comprising of 45 students participated in the CodeMutants. It was very encouraging to see so many students genuinely excited about programming. The contest started at 10 AM, and concluded at 1 PM.

The results of the contest were as follows:

• 1^st prize: BITWIZARDS (Aung Tun Myint, Hla Min Naing, and Wai Yan Min)
• 2^nd prize: SIRSCODEALOT(Wai Yan Htut, Ye Khant Lwin, and Zayar Naing)
• 3^rd prize: FANTASTIC 3 (May Yu Ya Myet Chare, Pai Min Thway, and Khant Nyar Thwin)
